fix under cabinet led lighting

after installing underside cabinet led lighting strips, it appears that the flash controlling voltages only go about 7 inches before fading out to nothing. Either this is related to wiring, voltage, or perhaps the led strip now has a break at that point and just needs a jumper to fix it.
