Tried to fire up a 2 player game, and it would only allow a 1 player game. I didn't check to make sure it had credits or anything. I just took it out of the rotation for the night.
I'll take a look next time I'm up there. Did you try pushing the start button 4 - 5 times? there's an alligator clip that jumps the game start button to also add a credit. I've noticed the MPU seems to only detect one or the other and so you have to sometimes push 4 - 5 times for it to add credit or start next player
I just tried it, and it consistently started multi-player games. There is a bit of a delay when you press the start button to start a new game before you can add more players, but I assume that's normal.
We'll see if this keeps coming up, but if nothing else, it doesn't seem to happen every time.
